Who we are

Sparkles Cleaning Solutions Ltd ("Sparkles", "we", "us") is a domestic cleaning company serving North Leeds. We are the data controller for the information you give us through this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@sparklesleeds.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect only what we need to reply and arrange your clean:

• Your name
• An email address or phone number
• Your postcode and basic details about your home and the clean you want
• Anything you choose to tell us in a message or the notes field

We do not take payment details through this website.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out your clean. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in keeping reasonable records of enquiries and the work we do.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. We don't add you to marketing lists, and we don't pass your details to anyone who isn't part of delivering your clean.

Who we share it with

Your information is seen only by the people who need it to do the job: the cleaner assigned to your booking, and the tools we use to schedule work and manage enquiries.

When you send the quote form, your details are received and stored in HubSpot, the customer relationship management (CRM) tool we use to manage enquiries on our behalf. HubSpot is provided by HubSpot, Inc., which is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred there with appropriate safeguards in place for that transfer, such as standard contractual clauses.

We choose providers that keep your data secure and use it only on our instructions. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it, to handle your enquiry, carry out your clean, and keep reasonable business and tax records. Then we delete it.

• Enquiries that led to a booking: contact and quote records kept for 6 years after the contract ends, in line with standard tax and business record requirements.
• Enquiries where you did not proceed: deleted within 1 to 2 years of the enquiry.
• Job sheets and visit logs: deleted 1 to 3 years after the visit is completed.

Cookies and third-party services

This website doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies. To display correctly it loads fonts and a couple of animation libraries from third-party services (Google Fonts, Cloudflare and jsDelivr), and those services may receive your device's IP address as part of sending those files to your browser. That's a normal part of how the web works and isn't used by us to identify you.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it ported elsewhere where that applies. Email info@sparklesleeds.co.uk and we'll handle it. If you're not happy with how we've dealt with your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
